JEREMY DUBS
WARD 4 CITY COUNCILOR

A Movement for Change

This is a photo of Jeremy, a white man with orange hair that is neatly brushed, smiling coyly at the camera. He wears a paid blue shirt and sits in a wheelchair.

WHO IS JEREMY DUBS?

Hi, all. I am Jeremy Dubs. I am an experienced advocate who has worked relentlessly to improve the lives of residents in Ward 4. People with disabilities want to be happy, successful, visible, vocal members of society. We want to be able to meet up with you at a restaurant or a bar, or to be able to get to work and not have to worry about whether or not we can get in the building, or if the sidewalks will be cleared when there is snow. As a disabled resident of Northampton for almost 20 years, I’ve seen very little change in terms of accessibility and job opportunities for people with disabilities. Representation matters: in culture, in media, in the workplace, and in government. That is why I am your City Councilor for Ward 4.

WHAT JEREMY STANDS FOR
(Wait...I can't stand!)

I believe in a fair and just society where everyone has equal opportunities. I am committed to improving education, healthcare, and transportation in Ward 4. As I stated in my rally speech for the Disableist Movement: March For The Rights of All People with Disabilities in 2022: “We hope that the movement we’ve started today will one day grow and branch out to other cities, other states, and maybe someday the world. But we have to start here, my friends. If we can’t change our immediate surroundings, how are we supposed to change the world?”

OUR MISSION

Reimagining an Accessible Ward 4 for All

We believe in a Ward 4 where everyone has access to quality education, healthcare, and transportation. We are committed to working with residents to create a community that is safe, inclusive, and equitable. That is why I, Jeremy Dubs, am your City Councilor for Ward 4.
